Description
CBD Chronic is a joint-production between Serious Seeds and CBD Crew. It was bred from the well-known, high-yielding Chronic strain together with Remedy, a medical strain with high levels of CBD. The overall, average ratio of THC:CBD produced by this plant is 1:1, a fact that has been underlined by lab-testing in Spain where the average of 10 samples was found to be 5.4% THC and 5.8% CBD. The sample with the highest overall figures boasted 7.88% THC and 6.93% CBD.
Just like the original Chronic strain CBD Chronic is very staight-forward to grow and from which to take cuttings. Yields are similarly large and can reach 600 gr/m2. It is a sativa/indica plant which requires about 4 – 5 weeks vegetative growth before switching to the flowering phase and takes 8 – 9 weeks to finish from there. This is Serious Seeds’ very first venture into the medicinal area and this high-CBD strain is recommended for the production of extracts such as cremes, lotions, ointments and CBD oil made by the Rick Simpson method.
CBD Chronic has particular uses in the treatment of multiple sclerosis, Tourette’s syndrome, epilepsy, arthritis and glaucoma.
