Description
Swiss Cheese is a cross between an old Nirvana strain called Swiss Miss and an unusual and special pheno-type of Skunk #1 that was taken to Amsterdam from the UK in 2007. It is a fairly easy-to-grow marijuana strain with great resistance to mould.
Swiss Cheese can be grown indoors as well as outdoors even at quite high latitudes. This is because of its very fast flowering time and the fact that its mould-resistance means that damp weather and high humidity is not too much of a problem for it. It is a medium-sized plant that takes just 6 – 8 weeks flowering indoors yielding between 400 – 500 gr/m2 in a Sea of Green grow set-up. Due to its strong smell during flowering it is recommended to use air-filtering for stealth.
It has a strong smell of Skunk and fuel and its flavours are pungent, Skunk-like and with tropical fruit notes and a somewhat old-school taste. THC levels are medium with high CBD. The effect is relaxing, happy and social so in no sense a party-killer. Medicinally Swiss Cheese has applications for treating stress, depression and for pain relief.
